Go to your dashboard, find the sender in the Cooling Off tab, and click Approve. Their email will move to your inbox immediately and all future emails from them will arrive normally.
Intercept whitelists anyone you've previously sent email to. If someone emailed you from an address that matches a domain you've sent to (e.g. @google.com), they may have been auto-approved. You can search for the sender in your dashboard and adjust their status.
Check your spam folder first. The email comes from noreply@useintercept.com — mark it as not spam if it's there. If you still don't receive it after a minute, try again. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.
Go to Settings → Connected Accounts and click "+ Connect". You'll go through the Gmail™ authorization flow for your second account. Both inboxes will be monitored independently.
You can revoke Intercept's access at any time by going to myaccount.google.com/permissions, finding Intercept, and clicking Remove Access. This immediately stops all interception. You can also email us and we'll delete your account and all data.
Your admin needs to add Intercept to the approved apps list in Google Admin Console under Security → API Controls → App Access Control. Full instructions are at useintercept.com/enterprise — there's also a copy-paste email template you can send to your IT team.
Inbox Cleanup retroactively sorts your existing inbox using the same rules as live interception. Anyone you've replied to stays whitelisted. Everyone else gets moved to your Cooling Off folder — no challenge emails are sent for this batch. Find it under Settings.
Yes. Go to Settings → Challenge email. You can choose between a friendly tone, a legal tone (referencing CAN-SPAM), or write your own custom message. Changes apply to all future challenge emails.
No. Intercept only reads the sender address, subject line, and timestamp of incoming emails. Email body content is never accessed, read, or stored.
Email hello@useintercept.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll remove all your data within 30 days. You should also revoke Gmail™ access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
