1. Go to admin.google.com 2. Security → API Controls → App Access Control 3. Click "Add app" → OAuth App Name or Client ID 4. Search for: useintercept.com 5. Select the app and grant access to these scopes: - https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly - https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send - https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify 6. Save. Your employees can now connect Intercept.

No. Intercept only reads sender metadata — the From address, Subject line, and timestamp. Email bodies are never accessed, stored, or processed.
Three scopes: gmail.readonly (to detect new senders), gmail.send (to send challenge emails on behalf of the user), and gmail.modify (to apply the Cooling Off label and move emails out of the inbox).
Each employee connects their own account at useintercept.com after your admin approves the app. The admin setup takes about 5 minutes — see the guide above.
We're in the process of getting listed. In the meantime, admins can approve Intercept directly via App Access Control in the Google Admin Console.
Sender email addresses, display names, and subject lines are stored in our database (hosted on Supabase in the US). No email content is ever stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
